Less then a month to go!  Kitty appears curious as to why mom keeps exposing her belly so much! Thanks to everyone for the wonderful shower gifts.  We've got sooo much stuff.

50 days (or so) to go!  We just spent 8 hour at a childbirth class. We were one of the only couples to have our nursery done.  We also discovered the goal of childbirth is to not be pregnant... and of course to have a happy (despite all the crying and pooping) healthy baby.

There it is!  The baby's finally making itself known. Gwen felt it for the first time today.

22-weeks and still no kicking!  Gwen had a checkup and found everything was OK.  Some people feel kicking at 14-weeks and some not til the end very end of the pregnancy.  Since the thing was apparently enjoying itself with a day of standing on its head and turning its back to the ultrasound, we still have no definitive answer to the infamous; "is it a boy or girl!" We're still going with the technicians "probably a girl" and staying fairly gender neutral with baby stuff.

What a fortune!

Gender... some people want to be "surprised" on the day of birth.  In our ever futile attempt to plan ahead, he technician at performing the 18-week ultra sound says; "look at those two bright lines in the groin area, that means its probably a girl."  Is that all we get?  Two bright lines? Probably a girl?  Who says we're in the midst of the technology revolution!
